UpsidePlum Island is also dog friendly in the winter (past labor day really). And there are places you can park for free... If you go all the way to the end of the ocean side of plum island and park by the lighthouse it's free.
DownsideStay away if the seabrook power plant melts down ; ).
The poor beach is also eroding away. The conservation committee is meeting regularly to try and save all the houses on the water that are slipping away but some of their efforts are more trouble than they are worth.
CommentThis is a wonderful place. My mom just bought a sweet little cottage here. I bring my dog here about once a week to walk/ run. Its beautiful, the waves are awesome but its a little inaccessible.
