It's a nice easy hike through the forest. You end up at Rocky Pond where there's approximately three hundred feet of shoreline on Rocky Pond that were protected when this forest was given to NEFF. Nice place to have a picnic.
Directions:
The property is located on the west side of Balls Street and the north side of Rocky Pond Road, approximately 2.6 miles east of Boylston.
From I-495 take exit 25B onto I-290 west. Take exit 24 off I-290 and turn right off of the exit onto Church Street. Continue for less than 0.1 miles and make a right turn onto Ball Street. Continue for approximately 0.9 miles and make a left turn left onto Rocky Pond Road. Less than 0.1 miles down the road there is a woods road on your right where the trail system for the forest begins.
