Best flat water and ocean kiting that is so close together. Pamlico Sound has never more than 2"waves and is 4-5'deep for miles with a sandy bottom. Best on SW,W,NW,N, winds.
Ocean best on NE, E, SE, S, wind. Always a nice shore break and 100's of miles of beach to launch and do down winders.
Spring and Fall are the windy seasons.
