This long but moderately dificult hike that takes you through fields and woodlands.
Directions:
Take I-270 exit 10 in Gaithersburg, follow MD 117 west, follow for 2 miles, pass main entrance to park, turn left onto Schaeffer Road, follow for 2.5 miles, turn left onto 14938 Schaeffer Road, go left at fork to parking area.
