State park in Milford Connecticut that is my favorite place to go and jump around. You can also take a cool hike out to Charles Island from here. This ultra cool walk takes about 2 hours and is only possible when the tide is out. If you leave at or after low tide you will not make it back to mainland so check out the tide times before you go. Loads of geocaches here, Dogs and bikes and skateboards not allowed on the boardwalk.
Directions:
Get of I-95 at exit 36 and turn left. Turn left again at the Wendy's and then you should see a sign for Silver Sands state park on your right. This road takes you straight into the park.
