The problems at the Siourlands range in difficulty from V0- to about V5. Their is defintely something fo everyone though, from two move top out wonders to endurancy slab problems. Be advised that a lot of the landings truly suck. Bring a pad (or three), and some experienced spotters. The rock is diabase and is very sharp. Tape will definitley get you through a session or two. The preserve boulders are a relatively simple hike along the white dot trail leading out of the parking lot of the preserve (look across the feild). You'll enter the woods and stay right at a bridge. As you ascend and level out start looking left and you'll notice a trail leading off APR. 5 minutes. This brings you to the first boulder feild. Continuing another 5-10 minutes up the trail will bring you to another small trail leading left. This puts you much higher in the boulder feild. There is a group that goes out there every thursday night through season. They meet at EMS Bridgewater around 5:00 PM. Have fun!
Directions:
From rt 206 south: Turn right onto Amwell rd. Proceed apr. 10 minutes makng a left onto East Mountain rd. The parking lot is about a mile up on the right. It comes up fast so look for two big rocks at the entrance. If you hit a sharp bend in the road you have gone to far.
