The St Mary's river flowing out of the lake is popular for rafting trips. The first few kilometers can be an easy 2 hour trip of slow moving Class 1 water. Beyond Marysville the river narrows and becomes sections of Class2 and Class 3 water. You will find some interesting rapids here, such as the 'Chute', the 'Pinball' and the 'S-bends'.
