St Marys lake is a scenic lake close to Kimberley, located on the river below Bootleg mountain. This lake is a popular destination for fishing, bird-watching and paddling trips.
The St Mary's river flowing out of the lake is popular for rafting trips. The first few kilometers can be an easy 2 hour trip of slow moving Class 1 water. Beyond Marysville the river narrows and becomes sections of Class2 and Class 3 water.
You will find some interesting rapids here, such as the 'Chute', the 'Pinball' and the 'S-bends'.

Drive south from Kimberley on Hwy 95A for 5km and turn west on St Mary's Lake road. After 16km you come to St Marys lake. There is a bridge to the left that crosses the river at the outlet. the north shore has a number of places to park and get into the lake.
