Took 2 hours total. Not too hard for the little guy and the hidden Teapots were a fun eye-spy game. Perfect for a family hike. not too hard for us beginners. Will for sure go again.

Trail in great shape all year round. Nice views in spots. Comment Busy at any time of year but to avoid the crowds, best done in the off season and during the week.
By RWSHikerPosted By: RWSHiker  - Fri Sep 01 04:25:52 UTC 2006 Not Rated Upside Good little hike, not too steep good rewarding veiw for little effort. A good way to spend an hour or so. Downside To Vancouver grose like, really wide path/old road. Comment It's good, nice starter hike, good for rusty legs.

I do this before or after work a couple times a week to try and keep in semi-hiking shape most the year round. Easily accesible and usually someone is on the trail. Downside For those looking for a long workout don't do this, I have been able to do it in 35 minutes. Comment Can get fairly busy during the summer as it is right at Cultus lake and lots of noise from boats etc...

Not too strenuous a trek!
Downside Gets extremely crowded; poor views of anything but the forest. Viewpoint(s) have narrowing fields-of-vision that don't do the area much justice!
Some vehicles at the trailhead have been vandalized during the "busy" season.
Comment Check out the tree that was struck by lightning at the first viewpoint!
LOTS of mosquitoes in the Spring!

It isn't very long, but still holds its ground in the area of viewpoints. (Views include Cultus Lake and surrounding mountains) Downside It isn't very difficult. (I guess for some people that could be an upside!) Comment The Cultus Lake area with its surrounding mountains are filled with numerous trails. Having done the trail up to Lindeman Lake, Mt. Thom, and Tea-pot hill I can safely say that hiking in this area is worth your time. It's also very interesting to hear some of the stories on why Teapot Hill got its name.
