Undulating single track trail for all sorts of sports, especially mountain biking. Quite technical in spots from rooty, rocky, muddy, hardpacked, stream crossings... This trail runs along the Presumscot river 90% of the ride. This trail can go all the way from Portland to Westbrook / Falmouth if you're tricky enough! This trail also extends to the other side of the river into the Portland Trails network.
Directions:
Outer Washington Ave. Portland ME. Park in the old Unum back lot on the right before you reach the Portland/Falmouth line where there is a small bridge to cross the Presumpscot. After parked, ride/hoof up the hill into a middle class neighborhood keeping right till it heads downhill, then just b-line it to the river between a couple of houses (you should see a little mulch trail). Bust left, river will be on your right & enjoy!
