Thrill Me Kill me is a classic Whistler technical cross country mountain bike trail that will have your tongue hanging out for more. This twisty single track starts right off working you harshly and never lets up.
Be prepared for a full hour long workout, so bring your sports drink and leave the body armour behind.
Near the end you can test your nerves on the steep rock faces.
This trail is what cross country riding is all about. The trail itself is around 7km, with a 4.5km road ride back to the start.
A common longer loop for those with energy to spare is to do Thrill Me Kill Me, then North Secret (the northern section of comfortably numb).
Directions:
Drive or cycle north through Whistler on the highway towards Pemberton. Just past Green Lake on the left hand side is the Cougar Mountain Forest Service Road. Turn onto the road and park. Ride your bike about 150meters towards Pemberton and on the left you will see the marked start of the trail. The trail will spit you out on the highway, so allow a half hour to ride back to your vehicle.

UpsideThis is a trail for riders of all skill levels. Experts can ride it at speed for the flow and the exercise. Mere mortals can work their skills without the threat to life many Whistler trails offer.
DownsideHaving to ride the road back.
CommentLoved this ride. It throws a bit of everything at you ... steep ramps, skinnies, rock rolls, big slabs all work your skills. The rolling terrain gives works your lungs. Some good views along the way.

UpsideAwesome workout, and great cross country ride with a few very challenging spots for those with 4" of travel or less.
DownsideRock face plants hurt.
CommentI've done this trail twice- once on a racer hard-tail which resulted in a trip to the emergency room, and a sencond time on a full supsension cross country bike. This is a great trail- I'm amazed that both times my buddy and I never ran across another rider. A must!
