Vroman's Nose is a short, steep climb to a fresh perspective. Perched six hundred feet above the rich farmland of Shoharie Creek Valley, the cliff-tops of the Nose are the place to go when you want to get away from it all. Linger with the soaring turkey vultures, camp, picnic, or just relax above the peaceful valley before descending through pine forest, ending on a grassy slope above the parking lot.
Directions:
Take exit 22 off I-88 and follow Rte 145 into Middleburgh. Go right onto Rt 30 west. In 0.6 miles go right onto Mill Valley Road, pass through the small village of West Middleburgh and in 0.6 miles cross Line Creek. A few hundred feet beyond the bridge is a small sign and parking area on your left.
