Description

Wardens Pond is a great place for a beginners paddle. It is approximately 1050 acres in size giving you plenty of places to paddle. The pond itself is very shallow; you can actually walk across the entire pond. Because of this there are basically no motor boats that operate here. There is one stream that feeds into the pond at the Northern Tip. You can follow this North to 138, or you can head off into Great Swamp by going west on the pond to the outlet. If you are heading into the great swamp be wary of low level branches and under water hazards. Keep an eye out for water snakes here and other than that this place is beautiful.

If we have a cold enough winter to freeze over the pond pop on your snowboard and kite and this place is perfect.

Directions:

Rt 138 -> Rt. 110 -> Wardens Pond Rd.

Access is on right side of road.
