Good Cross country trail, some good climbs, and log obstacles aplenty depending on which trail system, and your ride pace alot 2.5-4 hours to ride around the area between Rt4 and 44. I also recommend starting from the entrance at Rt4 putting the major climbs at the beginning when you're fresh as opposed to hitting them half to 3/4 thru your ride when the last thing you really want to do is a series of long steady climbs and short steep climbs.

From Hartford, Rt 4 west to the MDC entrance.
