The best part of this hike is a small quartzite cliff known as White Rocks. Great views in the late fall and winter.
Directions:
From US Alt. 40, take Maryland 67 South (from the west) or Maryland 17South (from the east), take Gapland Road, and follow to parking lot in Gathland State Park.
