Wittenberg Mountain, via the Wittenberg-Cornell-Slide Trail, from Woodland Valley trailhead. Wittenberg is the darling of many devoted Catskill hikers, with its attractive, boreal ascent and its far-reaching, lofty southerly viewshed. Among, if not the most rewarding day hike in the range.
