Wye Lake is in the centre of town, and a trail was constructed to allow walking around the lake. There are a number of interpretive signs. Good exercise to walk or run this trail. Some parts of the trail and boardwalks that traverse the swampy parts may be under water in the spring and early summer.

Directions:
Drive the Alaska highway to Watson Lake and look for the Northern Lights Centre. Turn north on 8th Street
and follow it to the park on the right. The trail can
be joined here and follow it around the lake. The main
trail is the one closest to the lake. See the Watson Lake map here: map
The Visitor Centre and the signpost forest are nearby also.
