The "Yellowbox" trails are a system of unofficial trails at the South West side of Gatineau Park and are base around the fire fighting trails west of the old fire tower. The trails run up and along the escarpement
Directions:
Drive to Pilon road which is west of the city of Gatineau (old Aylmer) on highway 148. Pilon road is not maintained in the winter and can be very muddy in the spring and fall. You can attempt to drive along it right to the edge of the escarprement or park near highway 148 and walk in (about 1 km) to the trailhead.
