What are the water levels going through the tunnel? Is the cuurent anything to be concerned about at the present. I am planning to solo canoe through them and I would like to be able to return the same route. thanks alot

i've been through it with high water and impassable tunnels, as well as a trip with very low water. there are portages up and over each tunnel, so even with high water, the trip is doable. You travel with the current to start, so this can make the out-trip easier than the return. we went one year and had to lay in our canoes and guide ourselves along the roof of the tunnel with our hands. you would not want to get stuck in there!
