The springs are actually under the river and allow the river to stay open year around. It is where many swans make their home. One year we went back up river and found a little backwater area that was quite warm to swim in but that is all.

You can also access the springs via the Livingstone Springs trail in Crooked River Provincial Park. Parking is at the Square Lake Parking area en route to the campground. Follow the trail to Square Lake for 1km until you reach the service road. Turn left on the service road and walk .75km until you reach the trailhead sign. From there it is about 2km of easy walking to the springs. The entire walk is easily done in one afternoon. I don't think the springs is marked on the river. It's not a hot springs, the water is simply slightly warm. It is a beautiful spot though and the old cabin is interesting to check out.
