Just wondering if this is a good trail for dogs? Our lab loves to hike with us!

If your dog is in good shape he or she should be fine. It's not like the Chief where you would have to carry the dog up ladders. There were some log "bridge" crossings over the creek, but I think dogs are better than we are when crossing those. haha
If you need a medium sized brand new dog trail pack, let me know. Or new dog trail boots.
My dog is no longer with me, so I have no use for them.

Have fun

Yes we always hike with our dog and he loves log bridges water crossings and this is an awesome off leash trail. We have a cairn terrier and he had no problems

Our dog joined us on our hike (video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyGF0DOet1I ) and he did better than we did. The trail is a continual uphill climb, but didn't have the things that normally bother our dog (like sharp rocks and shale). If your pooch is in good shape, take them, dogs love hiking!
