Regarding trail Bow Lake, Bow Hut, Bow Glacier Falls near Banff, AB

I was actually just wondering the exact length in km, to Bow Lake from the parking lot at Num Ti-Jah? And if it is possible to hike there in the dead of winter without snowshoes or crampons.

It is at least 2 km to the far end of the lake from the parking. If you plan to walk across the lake, remember that it is icy and windy, snow often blows away. Snowshoes are needed after a big snowfall. If the lake is just ice, then walk carefully, use polar cleats on your boots for traction. Do not walk on the ski tracks when there is snow, skiers do not appreciate big holes made bu hikers. Stay closer to shore for safety.
