Regarding trail Skyline Trail near Jasper, AB

Hello,

I am planning a trip to Alberta in Late July. I want to hike for 30-40 days, non-stop.

Is there any one trail system through the Rockies that would allow for long distance hiking trip such as this? A collection of trail systems?
A guide book you would recommend to prepare for something like this?
Thanks,

Justin

You might be interested in hiking the Great divide trail from Waterton to the north end as far as you can go (this is an informal collection of trails, rather than a single developed trail and thus quite the adventure). There is a book on the Divide trail published by Rocky Mountain books
