Hi Ben
We used your directions to find the 9 Mile River Multi-Use Trail System today.

We came from Truro, rather than Halifax, so we found it easier to take Exit 9 rather than Exit 8.

However, we could not find Elmsdale Road, and ended up in Elmsdale at the Esso station getting directions. Fortunately the gent there had hiked on it recently and he was able to tell us that it is on Enfield Road, not Elmsdale Road.

We enjoyed the walk very much. Thank you for your post!
Jane and Barry
Hikers from Truro.

I may have changed it myself. I didn't realize that I could. It was a great walk and I appreciate your post on it! Part of the loop at the end wasn't passable completely. We walked a short distance along it and came to a bridge that was broken in half... (That would have been at the end of it.)

When we walked back, we passed the beginning of the loop (although we had seen it on the way in.) I was, at that point, watching for puddles, as I had stepped in a doozy and had a wet foot... oh well!

Thanks again!
Jane
