How long will these caves be accessible? Is there any danger in going later in the year? Like now?

< BR>I'm going to try snowshoeing the trail, for my first time, tomorrow; I could let you know how it is.

< BR>Just did the hike today and the trail was packed enough that you don't need snowshoes at all. The trail at the site, where the ice walls are, is fairly hard packed so just have to watch your step as you ascend... there's no actual caves in this area.

< BR>Awesome! Sounds sweet! So it wasn't too hard walking along the brook either? I think I'm gonna go out next weekend!

< BR>Not at all... It's about 6km round trip and I think it may have taken us a bit over an hour each way... so 2.5hrs total with chillin' at the site taking pics and such.
