Trail starts in a conservation area and circles Sheffield lake. Several good
rocky lookouts. Unusual rock formations and rare trees and plants in the
area. Bugs can be bad in spring and summer.

There is also a dark sky viewing area so if you can plan your trip to take
advantage of the awesome nigh-time display of a starfilled sky.

Directions:

On west side of highway #41 seven miles south of Kaladar.
Well marked Sheffield conservation area sign.
