Gap Mountain is located in Jaffrey, Troy and Fitzwilliam. It has the best view of Mount Monadnock that I have ever seen. There are also blueberries to be picked in season. The climb is not difficult and the view is worth the effort. You will reach a false summit first, where you can stop, or continue on for 15 minutes and reach the true summit. Either way, you will be rewarded.

Directions:

Take route 124 out of Jaffrey to Bullard Rd. The trail head is on Bullard Rd on the left. There is plenty of parking. A small fee is collected by the honor system at the start of the trail.
