The Bisti Badlands South - Alamo wash Seldom visited, unknown, the Bisti Badlands is an amazingly scenic and colorful expanse of undulating mounds and unusual eroded rocks covering The Bisti Wilderness is a remote desolate area. The Bisti Wilderness offers some of the most unusual scenery found in the Four Corners region, one of the most scenic areas in New Mexico!
There are no hiking trails in the Bisti. Making use of a gps is the safest way not to get lost. (or use the Alamo wash as your reference)
In Farmington take Hwy 371. Go left after 38 miles(62km) follow Cr-7297. After 1.9miles(3.1km) go left on Cr-7290, drive another 1.2 miles(1.9km)
