This trail includes gentle slopes and a few steep hills along the Niagara Escarpment. Some sections are not groomed. This is an excellent trail for cross-country skiers looking to improve their skills and gain experience with some hill work.
From the main parking lot, take the connecting trail West of the parking lot near the information kiosk. Cross the service road and start on Terra Cotta Lane. Go West until the next information kiosk. Go South on the access road until you hit the Vaughan Trail.
You can also access the trail by entering the Watershed Learning Centre parking lot after crossing the service road. Pass by the information kiosk by the Learning Centre building and follow the right-hand portion of the A.F. Coventry Trail. This trail is for snowshoeing and hiking and will not be groomed. You will access the Vaughan Trail on the right where the trails fork.
