It's a trail up Bunzen Peak, only minutes away from Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park. The peak offers a great view of the area surrounding Mammoth Hot Springs, as well as Gardner River and Sheepeater Canyon. The trail offers an out and back or a loop option.
From Mammoth Hot Spring, go south on highway 89 for approximately 6.9km and you will come up to the parking lot, located on your left.

UpsideA hike with great views, especially north side DownsideA long flat walk back, on the east and south sides CommentApprox 500 m total ascent, all on the way up, on north side of the mountain, to el. 2613 m at summit. After you've ascented, and walked down the northeast side, there's a long, 5 km flat walk back to the trailhead. It's still worth it to circle the mountain rather than just go up and down, as there are interesting views on the northeast side as you head down, and canyon to the east. Bring water, as there are no sources of water along the trail.
