The beginning is a cobble stone beach which may be a little slippery at high tide, but soon changes to the sandy beaches of Rathtrevor. At the interpretive Display turn into the park to access the washrooms and hike the trail around the marsh. Head up the access road and take the Top Bridge cutoff to Resort Drive. At the end of Resort Drive cut over to the Highway and stop in at Serious or Coyote Coffee before turning down Arbutus Road and returning to the beginning.

Directions:

The start of this beach walk is from a beach access at the end of Arbutus Road at the south end of Parksville.
