If it wasn't for friends who moved to Fort Mac and who doesn't have
friends who moved to Fort Mac, I never would have discovered the
Birchwood Trail System. Open all year to hikers, bikers and dog
walkers it is best experienced in winter when the Ptarmigan Nordic
Ski Club http://www.ptarmigannordic.com/ keeps the trails groomed
for x-c skiing. With classic and skating lanes and everything from
easy to challenging, the system if perfect for the whole family.
