LENGTH/TIME: 2.8km/45 mins one way

ACCESS: The trailhead is the parking lot of Brookman Park, on Highway 101 immediately east of the Davis Bay beach.
TERRAIN: The trail is mainly flat with minor steep sections, however, the banks have been slightly eroded.

UpsideNice trail along chapman creek up to the BC Hydro powerlines with some old growth trees along the way DownsideThe trail and creek bank are heavily eroded and are in danger of giving away ner the start of the trail.
Due to a strong wind storm in the winter of 2006 many large trees have fallen on the trail blocking the way.
And many of the gnome faces have been vandilised CommentOverall its a good trail with many old trails branching off leading to hilltops. I wouldint recommend driving hours to get here but if you live near davis bay or sehelt give it a try.
