UpsideBeautiul views, amazing leg workout, this was our first scramble DownsideAt least 90% of this is uphill and steep! Do not pack heavy. if you go on a hot day the rocks radiate heat terribly. CommentTHis was our first scramble, we shouldve looked more into it. We brought our 50lb packs, and it was 30 degrees so we weren't the smartest. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners like us ha

UpsideFairly nice views that are relativley easily accessible from the road DownsideThe trail includes a long, steep climb atop hard rocks, this can get make you very tired, especially on a hot summers day CommentI do enjoy this hike, but not nearly as much as others. I would only do this hike in April or October when all the more exciting stuff is snow covered

UpsideBeautiful views before scramble to peak. DownsideLots of rock underfoot, very steep and hard to maintain pace for an inexperienced hiker. CommentDecided against going all the way to the peak (another 25 mins) and stopped for lunch after about 3.5K and went back.

UpsideThe hike to the pass is most through the trees, as we don't do scrambles we continued on the trail over the pass and finally around to University of Calgary environemntal Science centre. DownsideThere aren't many great view points unless you do the scramble. CommentThe elevation of trails here is lower that much of K country so the snow doesn't arrive and stay quite so early.
