Up Baldy pass then do a scramble up peak on left. (almost South Baldy). There are about a dozen waypoints attached which show the way from parking to the ridge line up Baldy.

Directions:

Kananaskis Trail (HiWay #40) about 8km S of #1 to to Baldy parking lot (Barrier Lake).

Do not pack heavy. if you go on a hot day the rocks radiate heat terribly. Comment THis was our first scramble, we shouldve looked more into it. We brought our 50lb packs, and it was 30 degrees so we weren't the smartest. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners like us ha

I would only do this hike in April or October when all the more exciting stuff is snow covered

Downside Lots of rock underfoot, very steep and hard to maintain pace for an inexperienced hiker. Comment Decided against going all the way to the peak (another 25 mins) and stopped for lunch after about 3.5K and went back.

Downside There aren't many great view points unless you do the scramble. Comment The elevation of trails here is lower that much of K country so the snow doesn't arrive and stay quite so early.
