An easy trail that follows the canyon/river with great views along the way. There are a few signs pointing out native wildlife/animals. Not much elevation change until the very end, by the falls. Some parts of the trail have eroded away so new paths have been made around those spots. Once at the falls, you can follow trails down to the upper pool or scramble down a scree wall to the lower pool/river.
You can access the trail from the lookout before the falls on cresent falls road off highway 11 or drive directly to the falls (2 or 3 more kms). At the falls there are some trails that lead down to the upper and lower fall pools.
Crescent Falls road is 15.9 km W along Hiway 11 from the main intersection with HiWay734 at Nordegg.

UpsideGreat looking waterfall with grassy areas for a lunch or whatever. Trail marked and unmarked all around to do whatever you want - you can go down to the Bighorn and follow it up the the lower of the two falls - which you can get pretty close to. DownsideAll you have to do is drive up to them if your coming off the highway... but there are other ways :) CommentPretty awesome!
