Nice views. Downside Can hear traffic during much of the ridge walk. Comment Hiked on July 21, 2016. Very little windfall on trail. Well marked easy to follow.

Not bad in the summer, even the 2.5km along the old road is pleasant. Ridge rambling is always nice. Downside No soaring granite peaks in this view, just rolling high hills posing as mountains. Comment Lots of deadfall - easy enough to circumnavigate that it entails an adventure rather than frustration, but I get the impression this one isn't summer maintained.
