In winter, the 10 miles of trails that sit high above Honeoye Lake are a hubbub of activity. It's the site of cross-country ski races and a very popular location for Rochesterians to cross-country ski and snowshoe. Because of its high elevation relative to surrounding lands, this park receives more snowfall. In winter the park's roads become part of the ski trails.
In summer and fall, it?s a haven for mountain bikers, offering lots of single track winding through the forest. Hiking is a joy here most any time of year (just don't walk on the ski race track in winter).
