Council Rock sits atop Bare Hill commemorating the Seneca Indian history of this site. A hike to the top of this grass-covered hill (as its name implies) provides a panoramic view of Canandaigua Lake below.

Directions:

From Canandaigua, head south on Route 364. Turn right onto Town Line Road, left onto Bare Hill Road, and right onto Van Epps Road. Park at the end of Van Epps Road.
