This is a loop hike that is composed of several trails, including a rail-trail, an old trolley bed trail, and hiking trails. It passes swamp areas where beavers flourish and a historic site where the old rail line parallels the old trolley line. In the early 1900's the electric trolley and the steam train raced - the electric trolley won!
A map and details for this trail can be found in the guidebook "Take A Hike - Family Walks in New York's Finger Lakes Region" available through EMS.
From Route 96 in Victor, turn west onto Route 251. Cross railroad tracks, then turn right into Lehigh Crossing Park
