Calvert Cliffs is one of the least-developed state parks in Maryland. One of the huge draws of this park is the enormous amount of fossilized shark teeth on the shores of the cliffs. There's also lots wildlife that's still alive so enjoy that as well. Start on the yellow-blazed Nature Trail. At .3 miles take the Blue Trail. At the end of the Blue Trail take the Red Trail.

Directions:

I-95/495 East of Washington

Exit 11 onto MD 4 South (Pennsylvania Avenue)

About 14 miles past Prince Frederick the entrance is on your left a few hundred yards beyond the intersection with MD 765
