Horticulturist Wilfred Wheeler began this holly plantation in 1925 to protect Cape

Cod's native holly trees. MA Audubon acquired the property in 1965.

Mixed woodlands and fields surround a small pond. Follow a grass covered trail

from the parking lot to begin your hike. Trails are color-coded. A map and trail

booklet are available to borrow.

Grounds are open every day except Mondays and major holidays. There is an

admission fee if you are not a MA Audubon member.

Directions:

From intersection of routes 28 and 151 in N. Falmouth,follow route 151 for 4

miles.

Turn left onto Currier Rd. Entrance is 100 yards ahead. From the Mashpee traffic

rotary, take route 151 west for 3 miles. Turn right onto Currier Rd. Entrance is

100 yards ahead.
