A small section of the AT, this offers a fairly easy going hike through some of Mass's best stuff. There are quite a few fantastic views available from different spots on the trail including a sweet view of Mt. Greylock. There is also plenty of wildlife to be seen.

Directions:

Take MA 9 to South Street in Dalton. Take South Street south down the hill for just under a mile. Turn left onto Grange Hall Rd. Continue straight until you see the Black Pole on your left indicating the AT. You will see the trail head marked in white from there. The hike is 6 miles and pretty easy to follow.
