This trail allows for relatively quick access to Wildcat Basin. There are unique geological formations of volcanic origin. Wildcat Spring in Wildcat Basin is one of the few good water sources in the area. Undeveloped trailhead. Parking is difficult, but not impossible for stock trailers. Passenger vehicles are encouraged to park in a manner so that room is available for vehicles with horse trailers to turn around. Stock water is available at trailhead, as well as tie stalls. Please refrain from parking or driving in the nearby meadow.
