The Grand View Point Trail in Canyonlands National Park is a great hike. The views at the end are awesome and the trail itself is nice, it runs along the cliff edge. The trail takes about an hour to complete and is 3 kms long, there is very little elevation change and is an easy trail.
Pick up the trail at the end of the parking lot. Head to the view point and enjoy the views. Then head right and follow the trail as it skirts the cliff edge. In about 30 minutes you will be at the end. Enjoy the views and the crowds should be less then at the first view point. Once done make your way back the same way you came.
Make your way to Canyonlands National Park and go in the Island in the Sky entrance way. From I70 it is 73 kms to the visitor centre. From the visitor centre head 10 kms to the intersection and veer left. Folow this road for the next 10 kms to end and park in the Grand View Point Overlook parking area.
