The Roadside Ruin hike in Canyonlands National Park, in the Needles District is a very short walk to an ancestral Puebloan granary. If you haven’t seen an ancestral Puebloan granary before, then definitely do this walk. It is really neat to see some really old North American history. Also, there is a little trail map that has numbered stations along the trail pointing out items of interest. Total trail time is about 20 minutes and is .5 km.

At the trail head you can pick up a pamphlet described what you are seeing around the hike on the numbered path. The granary is about half way along the loop trail.

Directions:

Drive to the Needles District in Canyonlands National Park. From the visitor centre it is a short drive to the roadside ruin parking area.
