The Pothole Point loop trail in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park is a nice short walk with great views of the Needles and water tarns with tad pole like creatures in them. The hike is mainly on slick rock, will take you 45 minutes to complete and is 1 km long.

Directions:

Drive to the Needles District in Canyonlands National Park. From the visitor centre drive to the Needles North area and park in the Pothole Point parking area.

Accommodations:

A lot of people hiking and biking in the MOAB area stay at condos managed by www.moabutahlodging.com, speak with Andrea. They offer a range of in town homes to budget and upscale condos.
