This trail follows the shoreline of Cold Fish Lake and can be hiked to the south end of Cold Fish Lake to where Mink Creek flows out. The trail continues on to the Guide Outfitter camp at Hyland Post. There are outfitter cabins along the way. In several places the trails become braided, and it is easy to confuse the route with other game trails. Trail becomes very muddy most of the summer.

Elevation gain is only about 200ft to the south end of the lake.

Directions:

Trail sign is behind camp host cabin just above the lake. Trail generally follows above the lake and crosses a few creeks. A hunting camp is on the lake near a bay. There is some good fishing on the lake near the creeks. Eventually the trail gets into a swampy area near Mink creek.

Access to this lake for hiking is best with a float plane from North Pacific Seaplanes
