This 2 km trail follows Pine Creek and ends at Pine Creek Falls. It has a dry environment in places. The trail was used during the gold rush, and the small dead mining town of Discovery can be seen from the trail. The PomPom trail also provides access to this trail, and can be used as a partly alternative trail on the way out. There are bears around, so be careful as usual.

Directions:

The Crocus and PomPom trails both start at the Atlin Cemetery. Once in town, drive down discovery, past the road back to Jakes Corner, and continue towards Surprise Lake. after about 4 km from the intersection back to Whitehorse, you will see a sign for the Atlin Cemetery. take that narrow but easily passable gravel road up to the cemetery. park there and begin your hike. it's about 2 km one way.
