Background: Birch Ski Area is located approximately 35 km south-west of Carman Manitoba. The area is situated at the foot of the Herman beaches situated along the Darlingford Moraine which offers a wide range of gully and valley terrain that provide exceptional outdoor scenery.
Access: Birch is located on private property and permission is required to use the property. A Manitoba Cycle Association license and Birch pass are required to cycle at Birch.
Trails: Birch Ski Area has over 25 km of trails for expert and novice enthusiasts. The trails journey through beautiful gullies and valleys that provide exceptional outdoor scenery. All trails allow for cycling in summer and skiing in winter.
Difficulty: Easy to Difficult - Birch Ski Area has short to long uphill and downhill segments that stretch along the trails.
Birch Ski Area is located near Roseisle, MB approximately 27km west of Carman, MB. From the corner of PR240 & PR245 head 1 mile west along PR245 until you reach a blue sigh marked "BIRCH SKI AREA" and turn left (southbound) onto Road 40W. Then continue straight for another 2 1/4 miles until you come to an intersection that has a white shed and turn right (westbound) onto Road 32N. Continue straight. Once you're up the big hill stay to your left and you will find yourself in the Birch Ski Area parking area. See the interactive map bellow for reference.
